John Bacon is a web developer formerly with Ubisoft Red Storm, a games studio based in Cary, North Carolina. Aside from studio work, interests include the community-oriented HTML5 Boilerplate. Two projects, codenamed Mixxy and fontfacebook, are aiming to be launched in 2013.

He writes about random topics at Tumblr, writes in 140 characters at Twitter, posts photos to DeviantArt, sometimes favorites moving pictures on Vimeo, records items of interest at Svpply, listens to all his music through Last.fm and looks at the occasional question on Quora.

John currently lives in Durham, North Carolina, where he roams about freely.
